In the book Our America the culture is not at all different from the laws that exist outside. The reason i say this because when the incident happen with the 5yr old boy got thrown from the window. The boys who did it had to go on trial for murder. Even though they were only 10 and 11 years old they were going to jail. Just like on page 117 in the book the lawyers were saying they have to represent little kids who are on trail for murder all the time. So it's no surprise for them. On page 118 the lawyer said " In all time i've been here i have never seen a kid who isn't a little kid. She quoted" that is said and makes you want to cry". They also made a comment no matter how old a person is the always know right from wrong. So the boys have to be punish for their crime.
My culture has affected my moral code as if sometimes i feel like i can't take a steps forwad without having to get back knocked down. I might feel like i have accomplish something but then i feel it's not good enough. My culture also has put me in a place to say i am proid of whoi am and where i come from.

The characters LeAlan and Lloyd i my book Our America, to me seems like they have stayed consisted throught the book. The reason i believe they have stuck to their cause of helping to make the projects better because they are still recording peoples stories to let people know what going on in the projects. They even now step up to the plate by investigating the crime where the little boy got thrown out the window. They have taking their investigation tthe supreme court to talk to the lawyers to see whats goin to happen to the little boys who did. They have stayed positive and insisting to be heard.
