Mark: The weird thing in Our America, the book that im reading, is how the author David Isay finds two boys in the Projects (Ida B. Wells Homes) that is willing to record what a normal day is like for them. On page 18 its says "LeAlan got on the phone and talked a lot" as if he was very eagered to do it. Thats the only thing thats really weird to me. Nothing else is strange especially the way they live because either been through or saw it before myself.

Arie: The main characters in my book were used to violence because they lived in Ida B. Wells the roughest projects in chicago. I think the difference between implicit and explicit violence is implicit violence is probably violence happening in neighborhood or city and explicit violence is probably violence going on throughout city or country. The types of violence I see everyday is somebody getting shot, killed in fire, gang violence and so on. There really isn't a way to seperate to two not unless its a space movie but the way sumbody die in a movie they can die like that in real life or worst.
